spider 1:  so, i heard Black Widster dropped on her head and crawled down her arm a few weeks ago. she lost it. yelling, hootin’ and hollerin’ dude. it was hilarious. you can’t find comedy like that.

spider 2:  let’s do it again, yo. Wolf Mama is in town. and she’s got all the kids with her.

spider 1: okay, you tell Wolfy to hide in the corner of the garage. and when the Lady’s goin’ all crazy trying to spray that tear gas stuff, the babies will launch out at her.

hundreds of them.

spider 2: rock on. let’s watch the Lady scream.

spider 1: yo, bro. did we kill her?

spider 2: yeah, man. i think so.

spider 1 & 2: sweet! (high five) now that’s wholesome family recreation!

  1. Cherie, I’m so sorry!! I remember that you and Ron W. feel the same way about spiders– I mean, NO ONE likes them, but YIKES that must have been awful!!

  2. Cherie–what a creative way to recount your “fun” with the spiders. Yeah, I hate them too. Here is what happened to me a few nights ago, told without so much talent, but, nonetheless, I think you will enjoy it–one spiderhater to another….
I had a “Wolf Daddy” here on Friday night when I was hanging out with Afton, by myself, watching Enchanted while Stephen was camping with Braden at a Father and Sons Campout. This huge spider, like at least the size of a 50 cent piece came dancing across the floor in front of us. I went to find something big enough to smash it with and when I came back it was gone–I hate that. So I freaked again. Then I went for the dustbuster. I put the dustbuster on the floor, because I was too afraid to smash it and fail, and hoped that it would come out again so I could ever sleep again in this house. It did come out again. I did freak out again. I did use the dustbuster. I did put the dustbuster in the backyard promptly after so it wouldn’t crawl out after the suction was turned off–there was no way I was going to dump it out into the trash. The dustbuster is still out in the backyard.
    Yeah. I hate spiders too.
