if only i had ten more babies, i would do this again for every single one.
so glad the project turned into something better than i ever expected.
i compiled the project into a book and had it printed at shutterfly. there's just something lovely about holding photos in your hands rather than looking at them on a computer screen. just lovely.
and i'm sure there will be many more to come!
just curious…which one did you like best?
over the weekend i enlisted jeff to help me with a few photos as the baby project winds down. i had a few ideas in mind– 1. a bed shot like a little sussy and 2. a surfboard shot.
as i was getting ready to post them today, i had a little thought. we will both be able to impart a few of our talents with him.

whenever we rent a movie, everyone always asks if there are outtakes (which d used to call take outs). with all the photos i've been taking this month, i've got plenty of stuff that didn't make the cut. but they make me laugh. so here's just a few…
1. plugging his nose (did i stink?)
2. after spitting up, he had two little chunks stuck to his gums looking like teeth. nasty!
3. break dancing the roger rabbit or stretching? you choose.
4. lincoln crashing the scene. he's a cute little crasher though.
5. christian spit up all over. hence lincoln heading for cover and dallin in complete disgust. did i mention he spits up a lot? no really. a lot.
6. i don't know. this looks more like a "behind bars" shot than a cute baby photo. 🙂

when he is older i will tell him about his name.
i will tell him about his Danish ancestry and his great great
grandparents who immigrated to this country to worship with the saints.
i will tell him about his grandpa, the kindest, most giving and loving person i know.
i will tell him the feelings i had about him one sunday morning.
i will tell him i knew he would bring us closer to Christ.
somehow i think he already knows all this. and it will be my privilege to remind him.
i have a really great reason for not being around my computer this weekend. my camera was busy at work taking pictures in our favorite retro town. more of that to come…
i woke up early this morning in amazement. he slept through the night!! oh i was so excited. a whole new life ahead of me. or so i thought.
turns out jeff woke me in the middle of the night and asked if i wanted him to give the baby a bottle. in my oblivion, i apparently said yes.
do i love my husband? you betcha.
am i terribly, miserably bummed? totally. 😉
