More children I want for my own

I love these boys. And I love their mom.

It's safe to say that I would happily add them to my household if I could. Then we'd have a whole gaggle of boys over here. That would be fun now wouldn't it!

I loved spending an afternoon with these cuties. They make me smile and laugh and want to jump on the bed all day.

Joy. Recorded.

This is my cousin and her beautiful little family of four…way back in December. (I'm just a little behind, that's all.)

I can't get over how much I want to steal her children and claim them as my own.

I love them. All of them.

And I love the joy I feel every time I look at these.

Gah. Love.

Welcome Joshua

I adore this sweet family but I think it may be safe to say that my children love them even more! In fact, the other day Lincoln came in, saw their picture on my computer and cheered with delight, "I love Rachel!"

Yes, we love them a lot! They were the wonderful saints that kept everyone at our home safe and happy while Jeff and I took our trip across the pond this year. Joshua was still snuggly in his mom's tummy at that time but now he's here. Such a sweetie he is. Welcome to the world, Joshua!

Forever Family

I can't think of anything much better than being able to see a family sealed together. A couple of weeks ago, Jeff and I were able to be with this family in the temple. What a wonderful experience!

The next day in Primary as I was teaching the children "I Love to See the Temple," my heart was extremely full of gratitude. I was teaching them about something I had just witnessed…becoming a forever family. I love how the simple truths of those primary songs sink deep into my soul and remind me of who I am and why I am here.

Welcome Laker

I met Laker and his mom for the first time not too long ago.

I loved hearing her story about how he got here. Little miracle, he is.

Oh and yes, just in case you were wondering. They are big fans. And I'm sure he will be too.

Welcome Enzo

He's been here a little while now, my sweet nephew Enzo. Grant Lorenzo to be exact, but Enzo is much more romantic. A bit of Italian spice.

I just wanted to share this series of shots of mom and baby. It speaks to me. Probaby because I know Amy and I know her goodness. I see her patience, her love, and the infinite connection between a mother and child.

You've come to a wonderful place, Enzo. So happy you are here.

Worth the wait

It's tradition to get the girls together at our family reunion, drive to a gorgeous mountain setting, and take a bazillion pictures of each other. We all look forward to it and keep on snapping until the memory cards are competely full. Even then, I still am scrambling to see if I can take just a few more before the party is over.

This year was amazing! And I couldn't wait to get home and see what I had captured. Only problem is it took me 2 months to see them all. Here are just a FEW of them. There truly are a bazillion. (Thanks for being patient and waiting for me, ladies. I will upload all of them to a site where you can get them)

I love all of these girls dearly! You all make me smile. So much. Love you mucho!

Just so you know, this little cutie was posing right and left. I didn't even ask her too. She just saw a camera and went to work. 🙂

Lady bug heaven

I love this amazing family. They were the last ones that braved the outdoors with me just as it was starting to heat up for the summer. The best part…twin boys that were infatuated with the bazillion lady bugs everywhere. I've never seen so many lady bugs in my life! They were in heaven.

I can't wait to see what this beautiful grove will look like in the fall!

Sweet Baby James

It is baby central around us lately! So many new babies have made their way to the world in the past few weeks. It's amazing, I tell you. I love the feeling that babies bring with them. It's a feeling of slowing things down and being in tune with each other. I think we miss that in the hustle of life. I think it's a gift they bring to us…to remind us of what's most important.

Meet James and his beautiful mother. Listening to her recount his birth story moved me to tears. No doubt, his arrival here was a sacred one. Welcome, sweet baby James.
