Scenes from our trip to Utah last month.
There were lots of favorites from our visit but I had no idea how much they'd love the trip to This Is The Place monument. You would have thought we were at an amusement park, that's how much they were into the place. Making arrowhead necklaces, getting a shave, pioneer school, dipping candles, riding trains and horses. I'm thinking we'll be back this way again.

Cherie! That (fifth) picture of the cattails…I want it printed huge and hung in my house. Seriously, I love it.
I wanted to make it there this summer but didn’t get a chance. Now I’m gonna make it a priority. I think my kids would LOVE it!
As always your photography is AMAZING!!! Love all the pictures and love This is the place!
um, you do realize you are in trouble, again!! we are going to have to hunt you down next time! or maybe we need to be thinking of heading your way with winter just around the corner…forgiven because we love you all! glad you had a great time, although it would have been WAY better if we had hooked up! 🙂 NEXT TIME!!!!
I love the dunce cap. I am remember visiting an old school house in St. Augustine FL, and they had a dark closet to put the bad kids in, and the dunce cap and stool. How awful! That wasn’t even that long ago! Every kid should know how good they have it now!
yes, we are in trouble, katie!! every time we are in utah, we say we should visit you and….
so, next time there are no excuses. let’s meet somewhere in the middle (‘neath that old georgia pine). 🙂
