1. grandma and grandpa are in town. yippee! they are taking advantage of one last trip to cali before we vacate the place. although they have fun here, i’m thinking they are breathing a sigh of relief that they won’t have to share the road with all of these “ca-razy” drivers.
2. disneyland today. let the party begin!
3. ella’s birthday tomorrow! my funny little leprachaun officially turns TWO. and i can already see the year ahead is going to be a doozy.
4. grandma’s birthday on sunday. you’d never know her age though! i think i have more wrinkles than she does. (nope, no botox involved) 🙂
5. i entered the same design contest again this year–creating keepsakes hall of fame. winners were originally supposed to be notified today but they pushed it back until monday. trying not to think too much about it. focus. focus. focus!
6. finally got the pictures from the Dominican Republic together. what an unforgettable trip. here are a few of my faves.

W.O.W!! I am truly speechless! Those pictures are breathtaking! Who knew water could actually be that blue? I swear it looks like you were taking these pics right out of a movie. Especially since where I live the water looks like it’s chocolate milk at best! Those were fabulous pictures and it really looks like y’all had a great time! The colors were so rich and inviting. I think it’s high time I had a caribbean vacation myself!

Cherie you have an incerdible eye! those photos are A*MAZING!! they truly capture the local color, beauty, and ‘ambiente’. I was right there with you and this photographer’s daughter/sister didn’t ‘see’ those things. YOU ARE GOOOO-OOOOOOOD! We sure had fun, huh. timing was perfect considering the major changes in your life right now.
