like our house burned down and everything inside of it.
my hard drive crashed last week. the night we returned home from utah i turned it on and nothing.
gone.
kaput.

so far they say nothing is recoverable. i’ve called every geek in the book. of course there is a place that could save something for a mere starting price of $1635. and that’s with no guarantee of what they might get.
i’ve done my fair share of crying. and all the "coulda shoulda woulda" thoughts. and every so often i remember something else that was on there and have a silent funeral in my mind. 😉
but…that’s life. i am grateful that i have posted many things here that have been important to me. at least i have that.
well, enough of my sob story. now go and back everything up!! do it. right now. right. now.
and just imagine living almost a week without the internet. i’m losing my mind!!!!! 🙂 🙂

Oh, Cherie! I am SOOOOOOO sorry to hear this! Having just this last month dealt with this exact thing…I must say a little prayer for you right now! Ah, I’m sorry! It’s like a family member died or something! Wish I could do something to help…let me know if I can!! I have heard this happening with a lot of people these past few months! Back UP!!
my parents just had a computer that crashed. jon took the hard drive out and slaved in on another computer and recovered all the info. my father-in-law sent his hard drive off to someone to recover is info. they charged between $500 and $800. still steep but not quite as bad as $1600. we are praying for ya.
