for the love of all things napoleon

this year our ward’s halloween party was a carnival of sorts. each family could set up a booth with your own game and prizes. so my wheels started turning about something fun we could throw together. first thing was figuring out costumes. we decided to revive our napoleon and deb prom stuff from three years ago. i didn’t take any photos of us this year but i will refer you to this 2005 pic just to set the scene.

next was figuring out the game. (and i think you’ll get a kick out of this, jamie!) we decided to keep the napoleon gig going and create a "flippin’ sweet tots toss."
what’s that you ask? well, here’s what you do…
step up to the line and see if you can throw a frozen tot into napoleon’s, deb’s, or pedro’s mouth. make it in and you walk away with a piece of candy. lucky!

i must say it was quite the hit of the party but i think i had the most fun. i’m a total sucker for this kind of stuff. can you tell? 😉

ok, one more halloween pic for granny and i’m out!

  1. I looooove that you did a napoleon theme this year!! What a creative game with the tot toss. Maybe next year you could do a pin the “tail on the ligre”. I might have to copy y’all on this idea next year! Of course the kids look adorable and ditto on the sweeeet photoshop skills. Luuuuucky!

  3. Thanks for the belly laugh! I still remember the first rendition of “the Napoleon”. Ah, thanks for the memories!

  4. A HUGE thank you little miss perfection-PLUS. I LOVE the Halloween Present foto of the kids –just before trick-or-treating, I would imagine, and thanks for including the current li’l chili pepper. I knew right off which was which. Lincon is getting big and looking much older. (Well I guess he can’t look THAT much older, but he sure is a cutey!!) Love you lots.
