tomorrow morning this sweet boy has eye surgery. i wish i could say i'm not scared. but i am. eyes are on the same level for me as the heart or brain. kind of indispensable. i might be bordering on terrified. but fear is the absence of faith, and i can't go there. i need all the faith i can get.
i am sure he will be fine. it's me they will need to hook up to oxygen. 🙂

Prayers for you and your sweet boy. We have done 6 eye surgeries total at our house. I know what you are feeling. The first time I sent my little guy back I was crying just as much as he was (maybe not as loud). I am a wimp what can I say! Hope things go well tomorrow.

Good luck for you and your kiddo ! I have the same feelings about the eyes…they’re the only set you get (kinda like teeth). My eye doctor is recommending surgery for me in a couple years when I can no longer get an eyeglass prescription that will help correct my muscle imbalance…and I’m scared. 🙂

Cherie, from the tilt of his little head to the side, I’m guessing he is having surgery to correct congenital nastagmus. Both my husband and my oldest daughter were born with it. Perhaps it is not that but I’m lifting up prayers for your little one and your family.
