is it a new year already?
sheesh…where have i been? hmmm…well it’s been a wild and crazy place around here lately. then again, when is it not? 😉 but the holidays have come and gone and it’s been good. really good. only one regret this year. i didn’t get a christmas card sent out. whhhaaaat? the sky must be falling. or it’s a sign of the times. and yes it’s time to pull out the food storage! i mean i practically live my year just to create a christmas card, right? (insert giggle here). awh, i am a little sad. but it just never happened this year. just didn’t happen.
but a lot of good things did. and so…here is my makeshift card that will have to do.

10. we got to see leaves falling, fireworks in the tree tops, mice wearing sweaters, and pirates in the caribbean.
9. we’ve got a piano player. dallin is a champ on the ivories.
8. cherie becomes an excellent chef.
7. ella is the queen of saying “delishioth and nutrishioth”
6. dallin gives mom a great present…he becomes a real swimmer on her birthday.
5. we sell our house in a day. bendiciones.
4. cherie gets some cool opportunities to design stuff.
3. jeff accepts a job working with his bros. at infusion software.
2. we move to lone and dreary arizona (ok, i’m over the lone and dreary part now)
1. we welcomed adorable, sweet yet sleepless baby lincoln to our family!
one of these statements is false. have you guessed it?

The one about you becoming an excellent chef. . .I roomed with you, you have been an excellent chef for quite sometime. Didn’t just happen in 2007. That one has to be false.

I was going to guess that the chef thing was false- based on no previous knowledge. Good to know you’re up and running for the new year! Your new blog decor is fabulous, as is your picture! 🙂

I’m gonna have to vote for the chef thingy too b.c I’ve heard you say one too many times that you hate to cook. However, you could have turned a new leaf in 2007. My vote is still the same however. 😉

and don’t feel bad, sariah. what it boils down to is we just never got a family picture taken. maybe if i start soon enough (like in may, i.e. cheaper by the dozen) it just might happen this year!
